Greetings, my name is Felicia Drummond, I started DITCH in February of 2019, a 501(c)(3) entity in order to assist the community. I played Division I basketball and was granted the opportunity to excel on the professional level. After I put the basketball down, I decided to go back to school and get my MHA (Master of Health Administration). I am currently in school getting my PhD in Performance Psychology. I have partnered with DPH (Department of Public Health) as a Healthy Heart Ambassador. In partnering with DPH it allowed me to reach community members who suffer from the chronic condition high blood pressure. I educated patients on how to properly use this BP monitor at home and on the importance of knowing their numbers. I also educated them on healthy nutrition as I am a certified fitness nutritionist. I was recognized by Piedmont health in 23' as a difference maker, I was also recognized by Morehouse School Of Medicine as an "Unsung Hero". I received this ward in November of 23'. I also am a co-author with Morehouse School of Medicine- Community Surveys on COVID-19 Disparities and Social Vulnerability. I want to help people on all platforms: mental health, life coaching, physical fitness and nutrition. I believe in working with individuals to prepare them for the future, whether it's sports or everyday life, while teaching the importance of well-being.
